The portal allows you to upload risks to risk registers after they have been generated elsewhere. If you already have a spreadsheet of formatted risks:
- Go to the “View risk registers” section:
- Click the “IMPORT RISKS” button:
- Select a risk type to import:
- Click the “BROWSE FILES” button:
- Here you will see a “Field name” column populated with column names from the spread sheet, a “Column name” column that determines which risk fields the spreadsheet’s column’s will be mapped into, and a preview of the risk field values:
- Click the “FINISH MAPPING” button to create the risks:
- Click the “CONFIRM” button to finalise the change:
- You will see the imported risks appear at the top of a risk register:
- The portal will import all rows in the spreadsheet that it can identify as risk data while giving you the option to download rows that failed to upload. Click the “DOWNLOAD FAILED RISKS” button to create a spreadsheet of this data:
Carefully examine risk rows that failed to import. Keep in mind that this process cannot create an entirely new risk with a new entity. It merely allows you to generate reported risks in risk registers using entities, risks, and other elements already present in the portal.
