By default, the Prevalent platform will send emails from noreply@3grc.net
You can setup the application to send emails from your own email address using our email server. To ensure deliverability, the emails we send need to be validated by an SPF record on your domain so you will need access to modify the DNS records on the chosen domain. We can also support DKIM if you choose to validate via the DKIM method.
We do not support sending emails directly from your SMTP server. We send a number of transactional emails on a daily basis which can affect the health and reputation of your IP range, by sending emails from our email server and by validating via an SPF record we won't affect your reputation and we can directly control deliverability.
To get started please send a request to help@prevalent.net. It is important that you not forget to include the email address that you would like to use and confirm you have access to modify DNS on the domain. See example below for how this information should be sent to help@prevalent.net
Example:
Customer Name: Prevalent, Inc.
Instance URL: prevalent.3grc.net
Requested Email Domain: noreply@prevalent.net
Please Note: The entire email is required for the setup. Sending only the @prevalent.net will not allow us to properly setup the Email Domain.
Once we have completed internal setup work, we will provide you with the necessary additions to the DNS service that will allow you to activate your custom e-mail address.
