All agreements have two time sensitive parameters that are set by the user. The first parameter is the “AGREEMENT EFFECTIVE DATE” which is the day that the agreement is issued to specified entities:
The second parameter is the “ACCEPTANCE WINDOW DURATION” which is the amount of time, beginning with the “AGREEMENT EFFECTIVE DATE,” that each recipient entity has to accept the agreement document:
Every time an entity is added to an agreement after it has been issued, the entity will be sent the agreement document and will have the amount of time specified in the “ACCEPTANCE WINDOW DURATION” to indicate acceptance.
You may also choose to activate the “AUTO ACCEPT” option while setting up the agreement. If activated, this will automatically mark as “Accepted” any recipient entities that have not responded by the end of the “ACCEPTANCE WINDOW DURATION.”
